Best spot in Venice period! Beautiful sunsets , Even sitting on the couch! Downtown food and shopping is excellent, don’t forget to check out Luna Italian Ristorante a must. it’s the definition of, location location location!

Great place to stay in Venice!
My husband and I recently enjoyed a month-long stay at Unit #133 at Bahia Vista Gulf in Venice. It was perfect for us. The Bahia Vista complex is located right on the beach near the jetty and also is not far from from the historical district of Venice with all the shops and restaurants.
The location of this condo within the complex could not have been better! It faces the pool and the Gulf of Mexico and is literally just steps from the sand and ocean. The sunsets are spectacular and the nightly ritual of sitting on the patio sipping a drink and watching the sun disappear into the ocean never gets old. The beach and the grounds are beautiful, very clean and well-maintained as is the large heated pool with plenty of chairs for sitting poolside. Most of the guests at Bahia Vista are middle-aged or older and for us it was a delightful mix of friendly, interesting people that we look forward to seeing again, as we will definitely be returning.
Unit #133 is lovely and exactly what we were looking for. It’s a one-bedroom, two-level condo, bright and sunny with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. Motorized shades provide light control and privacy. The first floor has a sunken living room, full kitchen, spacious eating area and half-bath. Floors are tiled throughout and the area is tastefully furnished with a comfortable sleeper sofa, upholstered chairs and a stunning tile/stone fireplace with a large TV mounted in the living room. The kitchen is well-stocked, includes a dishwasher, and is open to the living room by way of a large pass-through “window”. The eating area is spacious and with well-planned use of partially mirrored walls, the view of the pool, beach and ocean is reflected everywhere. We loved that. Stairs are carpeted and lead to the second-floor loft with master bedroom, full bath, and another stone fireplace with mounted TV. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit and it was wonderful to have that!
The owners of unit #133 are lovely people, very responsive, friendly and helpful. The unit is very clean and equipped with anything you might need, from towels and beach chairs to kitchen utensils and hair dryer. Venice is a lovely place to explore and this condo felt like a “home away from home” for us. If you are traveling to Venice and looking for a rental, you will not have to look farther than Unit #133 at Bahia Vista Gulf. We highly recommend it!
